Stale notice on main page could go, maybe?

It seems to me that the warning text that a visitor to tindie.com sees as the first text:

" We are seeing many shipping delays, especially for international orders. Please check individual product pages for details. More info on COVID-19 and Shipping"

…has really run its course by now?

Are “many shipping delays” still a major thing? Is COVID-19 effect on shipping still a thing?

I think it may be time to drop that header?

(Just a suggestion.)

Thanks for everything… tindie is a great site, and I like selling here.

Morning Stolk,

We appreciate your suggestion but unfortunately shipping logistical services are still affected by COVID-19 mandates and protocols. For the time being we will resume to have our banner advertise as such until further notice.

Thank you for using Tindie and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day,

I think it should be removed. Peer sites have no such banner. Shipping is generally improved from the early days of Covid. Any customer who is not aware that this is not 2019 has been in a coma.

I think it needlessly depresses sales.

If you really want to keep it, move it to the checkout or shipping pages.

Canceled again. Very disappointing Tindie staff. Maybe you could respond to my points rather than cancel the content. Thank you.

Hi @Stolk,

It’s been a while since you posted your question on our Community Forum. We just wanted to inform you that we’ve removed the Shipping Delay Notice from our home page. We’d like to thank you and the other sellers who shared this feedback with our team to improve our user experience.

Cheers,
