If I offer local pickup as a shipping option, how does Tindie confirm that the product was actually “delivered” and allow for disbursement of funds (Being that there would of course, not be a tracking number of receipt)?
Hi, you still need to mark it as shipped in the same way that you would if you mailed the item. If you don’t actually give it to the buyer they can dispute the order and get their money back.
Re: Mailed items and tracking - although we encourage you to send orders tracked, it is not a requirement. However, providing the tracking info when you mark it as shipped does reduce customer service enquiries and also helps in the event of an undelivered package disputes.
