"Last One in Stock"

I recently received an email from a potential customer regarding one of my Ultrasonic Cleaners being the “Last one in stock”.
He was concerned that I would no longer be building this version, or that I would be going out of business and he didn’t want to buy a machine that would not be supported or would become obsolete.

Seems this could be a deterrent to buying?

Hi Louis,

Thanks for your post.

We appreciate your feedback. A message like this is fairly standard for online stores and can also be seen as more of an encouragement to purchase. You’ll notice it on Amazon and all sorts of other sites.

There is no current plans to remove this messaging but I’ll absolutely make note of your feedback and share it with my team.

Best,
Tindie Team

You can add a message that will appear at the top of your store pages or in the product description itself to explain your stock control process so that people will understand how you do business.
