I noticed the exif on the images was not scrubbed away when uploading. As this is good practice to do yourself, I’d expect this to be done on a site like this.
There’s a lot of personal identifiable data on an image. For the ones who do not know, this includes your phone/camera brand, gps location of where the image was taken etc.
Maybe I’m too dramatic here, but it does not hurt to be on the safe side.
Just look for yourself now. Find a few images on the sales platform here and check the exif data for yourself. Not all will have metadata as people, phones and other software removes it.
I sent a mail to the tindie support but they did not care and asked me to “remove them from my list” lol.
It’s easy to add a scrubbing step in the upload. Why not?
