I logged with hackaday.io and got this random username, how do I change it?
I checked with Tindie support and they said send an email to help@tindie.com and they can change it for you.

Thanks I’ll contact them. The login system is a broken, who would want a random username…
EDIT: I got:
mx.google.com rejected your message to the following email addresses:
help@tindie.com (help@tindie.com)
The address you sent your message to wasn't found at the destination domain. It might be misspelled or it might not exist. Try to fix the problem by doing one or more of the following:
Hey, the support email is hello@tindie.com.
Ping us there with details of what you’d like your username to be.
Thanks!
For anyone who comes across this now (Aug, 2018 or later) the correct email to reach out to is support@tindie.com, as help@tindie.com bounces.
Yes, help@ is not valid. only support@ or hello@. Thanks
