Of course Aliexpress, eBay, Amazon… they all show the seller ratings and to some degree, poor sellers are sort of taken care of, I guess. Having a resolution process may be the best bet to deal with individual issues. And some policy that outlines what happens to sellers that fall below a threshold and what the incremental actions are. E.g., warning + drop in ranking. Another warning + further drop in ranking. Then suspend them for X amount of time. Then ban them. I think mostly folks reacted to the “fall below the (rather high) line just once and you’re gone, no more chances, ever in your entire life” People are human. Things happen. Some flexibility and humanness is required.
