It costed more. But it was worth investing
I see lots of replies talking about solderpaste, stencil, reflow oven.
Personally, I find that the volumes I make at, I’m happy to use a hotair gun for that. They can be picked up very cheaply, don’t take up much space, but are perfectly adequate for small runs - in the 5 to 10 boards kind of quantity, that a new seller is likely to be starting from.
